The Secretariat and Climate Transparency partners will join the COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. We will conduct an interactive briefing on the key findings of the Climate Transparency Report 2022.

The briefing will provide a comprehensive and concise stocktake of G20 climate performance based on the recently launched Climate Transparency Report 2022. It will emphasize the choices G20 members have made in the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis and how these influence climate action. Special emphasis will be given to climate finance and on the special responsibility of the developed countries within the G20 to increase their climate finance. The session will bring together international specialists from NGOs of G20 countries.
Gerd Leipold from the Berlin Governance Platform will moderate the session.
