On 14 October 2021 the Brazilian Partner of Climate Transparency, CentroClima, together with the Brazilian Climate Center organised the launch event of the Climate Transparency Report 2021.
Professor Emilio La Rovere, Head of CentroClima and Member of the IPCC since the 2nd IPCC report in the 1990s, William Wills, Coordinator of Climate Transparency in Brazil, Guilherme Syrkis, Executive Director of the Brazilian Climate Center, and Guilherme Lima, Project Manager at the Brazilian Climate Center participated as speakers.
During the event, William Wills presented the Climate Transparency Report 2021 as well as the Brazilian Country Profile and Guilherme Lima presented the ICAT project for Brazil. After that, the panelists answered questions from the public. Additionally, William Wills gave interviews for CNN, Brazil’s evening news, and for TV Globo, the largest open channel in Brazil.
